For over 30 years, Theatricks Theatre Co. 4 Kids programs have been successful in creating an open forum in which participants work as a group to improvise, refine and produce an original theatrical production. Founders Cathie Webb and Jeff Gillespie, Honours Graduates of Theatre from University of Guelph, followed their dreams to Toronto and are thrilled to continue to offer families quality creative fun for 2025 and beyond with the passion and commitment of an amazing team of theatre educators.
Jeff Gillespie
Founder & Director | Theatre Educator | Primary, Junior & Intermediate Teacher | Athletic Director
Jeff is an experienced theatre educator, full-time teacher, and Athletic Director with over 30 years of experience working with children and youth in creative and academic learning environments. His work in both the classroom and the arts reflects his deep commitment to safety, inclusion, and child-centred practice.
As Co-Founder and Director of Theatricks Theatre Co. 4 Kids, Jeff is dedicated to creating safe, structured, and engaging spaces where students feel a strong sense of belonging, dignity, and care. He believes consistency and emotional intelligence are essential to helping young people thrive.
Jeff has extensive experience leading drama, improv, and theatre programs for students in primary through intermediate grades. His teaching focuses on skill-building through performance-based learning, helping students grow in confidence, creativity, communication, and collaboration. He supports learners of all abilities and learning styles, ensuring each child feels supported, valued, and capable of success.
Colin Snider
Program Director | Theatre Educator | Primary, Junior & Intermediate Teacher | Designer
Colin has been part of the Theatricks community for over 25 years, first as a camper and now as a leader helping shape the experience for the next generation. He has taught in both public and private schools teaching drama, physical education as well as core subjects working with students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. He brings a deep understanding of how theatre can support growth at every stage.
At Theatricks, Colin leads summer camps, improv programs, after-school club, and special events. He supports our staff to ensure every program feels creative, welcoming, and well-supported. Colin ensures our programs create a safe place that fosters confidence, collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging.
Colin plays a key role in shaping the look and feel of Theatricks. He leads branding, website design, theatre wear, and creative development initiatives, helping ensure the organization’s visual identity reflects its vibrant spirit. For Colin, the goal is simple: to make camp just as meaningful, magical, and memorable for today’s campers as it was for him and the lifelong friends he has found there.
Cathie Webb
Founder & Director | Theatre Educator | Education & Community Lead | Primary, Junior & Intermediate Teacher
Cathie is an experienced theatre educator and school leader with over 30 years of experience working with children, educators, and communities. As Co-Founder and Director of Theatricks Theatre Co. 4 Kids, she is committed to creating safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments where every participant feels a strong sense of belonging, dignity, and care.
In addition to leading Theatricks’ Education & Community Experience, Cathie brings decades of experience as an educator, vice principal, actor, and theatre leader. Her work is rooted in child-centred practice, emotional intelligence, and the belief that creativity and collaboration are essential tools for growth.
Cathie has led immersive, experiential programs and developed a thriving theatre education program grounded in collaboration and student voice. At the heart of her teaching is Collective Creation — a process that empowers students to explore ideas, build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and express themselves through performance.
She is also passionate about teacher mentoring and professional development, supporting educators in building classroom environments grounded in safety, inclusivity, respect, and meaningful skill-building. Through structure, encouragement, and care, Cathie helps young people and educators alike feel confident, creative, and connected.
Quinn Caradonna
Quinn has been part of the Theatricks community for over 20 years, and for the past three, he’s been a huge part of our After School Club. He brings his signature energy, humour, and enthusiasm to the kids every single day.
Outside of ASC, you’ll find Quinn all over our Super Summer Day Camps and March Break Madness Camp. He's usually right in the middle of the action with the kids, in the gymnasium, or outside leading high-energy games. Quinn has been leading outdoor play at Super Summer for 12 years and is famous for his legendary tournaments. Whether it’s foosball, gaga ball, or an all-camp showdown, you’ll hear his classic call: “This! Is! Tournament!” and just like that, the action begins!
Quinn is caring, kind, fun, and incredibly supportive. He brings a real sense of awareness and thoughtfulness to everything he does. He also heads up props and special effects, adding tons of creativity and imagination to our shows. And of course, Quinn is always creating memorable, larger-than-life characters on stage that truly inspire our campers. On top of that, he supports our Leader in Training (LIT) program, sharing his experience and helping young leaders build confidence, develop life skills, and grow into amazing role models.
Outside of camp, Quinn is a full-time physical education teacher working with primary, junior, and intermediate students, bringing that same energy and encouragement into his classroom.

Adele Chamberlain
For over 20 years, Adele has been a huge part of the Theatricks community, bringing warmth, positivity, and heart into everything she does!
If you’re looking for Adele, chances are she’s at After School Club, right in the middle of the action. Whether she’s leading a game, jumping in to play, or creating those little moments that make kids feel seen and included, she lives and breathes the Theatricks spirit!.
Beyond ASC, Adele pops up all over the place, including Super Summer Day Camps, March Break Madness, and sometimes in our in school programs too. She is also a big part of our LIT program, where she supports and mentors participants as they grow into confident Counsellors in Training, and then continues guiding them as they step into the CIT role. She is the kind of person who really takes the time to connect and help kids grow.
Theatricks is what helped me become an outgoing person/shy/not very confident
Adele feels that Theatricks is what helped her become more confident, and she loves passing that on. She is always encouraging campers to be silly, expressive, and brave enough to trust their ideas. You will see it in her larger than life characters on stage, her standout moments in Theatricks Idol, and as host of last year’s SSDC reality show, Traitors. She brings creativity, commitment, and a whole lot of fun to everything she does.
Outside of camp, Adele is a trained Primary, Junior, Intermediate, and Senior educator with a specialization in Special Education, supporting children with exceptionalities, and bringing that same care, patience, and positivity into the classroom too!
Sandy Battye
Sandy has been part of Theatricks for the past 20 years and can be found supporting our campers across a wide variety of programs. You’ll find her at Super Summer Day Camps (Guild and Beach), Improv Adventure Camps, March Break Madness, After School Club, and In-school programs. She is thoughtful, supportive, industrious, and reliable, bringing a calm and steady presence to everything she takes part in.
Sandy is the Program Facilitator for the SSDC Guild program, where she has helped build and shape the program alongside Jeff, in collaboration with the City of Toronto, bringing it to life. She also plays a big role in bringing the staff team together as Theatricks’ Social Convenor, organizing fun events that help everyone connect. Sandy loves working with our LITs, mentoring and supporting them as they grow into confident leaders.
Sandy says a big reason why keeps coming back year after year is the Theatricks community. Theatricks played a big role in building her own confidence, and she is passionate about creating that same experience for others. She loves watching kids find their voice, grow in confidence, and build social, problem-solving, and life skills along the way.
James Kane
James has been coming to Theatricks for the past 15 years, taking part in Super Summer Day Camps, March Break Madness, Improv Adventure Camps, and joining the After School Club for the past year. At ASC, they are known for helping with pick-ups for Williamson Road and St. Denis crew!
James keeps returning year after year because of the strong sense of community, the people, and the friendships they’ve built along the way. They are kind, creative, thoughtful, wonderful with little people, considerate, and conscientious, bringing a calm, caring presence to everything they do.
Through their time at Theatricks, James has developed strong skills in acting, improvisation, and thinking on their feet, learning how to stay present, adaptable, and confident in the moment. These experiences have carried into real life and helped shape their approach to working with others.
James has also discovered a passion for education through their time here and now works in Early Childhood Education, where they continue to support, guide, and inspire young learners.
Outside of Theatricks, they enjoy video games, reading, cooking, Dungeons & Dragons, collecting fun T-shirts, hats, and socks, and spending time with their dog!
Caelan Mestel
Caelan first came to Theatricks way back in 2008 as a camper at Super Summer Day Camps. After spending her childhood at Theatricks, she went off on her own path and eventually found her way back to us, which makes having her on the team pretty special!
For the past two years, Caelan has been running dance and gymnastics at After School Club, bringing movement, energy and creativity into everything she does. She also loves all things theatrical and especially enjoys leading the Improv Adventure Camps, where there’s lots of room to play, create characters, think on your feet and have fun.
Fostering children’s love of the arts has been a passion of Caelan’s for as long as she can remember. She loves watching kids build confidence, discover new things about themselves and, most importantly, have a great time while they’re doing it!
Conor Ling
Conor is a theatre, film, television, commercial, and voice actor based in Toronto! He grew up attending Wicked Wednesday’s and is thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to this incredible company!
Originally from the UK, Conor grew up in Toronto before moving to New York City to study at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts. While receiving his diploma and earning a certificate in Advanced Actor Training, Conor worked as an actor, stage manager, fight choreographer/director, and carpenter across various production companies like Red Sand Productions, Scranton Shakespeare Festival, Amicus Theatre Productions, and Red Sandcastle Theatre.
Conor has been an educator with Theatricks for the past 3 years, working with kids from JK-Gr 8 across the TDSB, TCDSB, and various private institutions. Conor is well versed in the Actors Toolbelt and Improv teachings, having been a Theatricks kid himself!
As an actor, Conor’s credits include: Cyrano (Mirvish/Roast Productions), Small Gods (Factory Theatre), Cinderella (DreamCo/Diversified Theatre Productions), Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap (Theatre Northwest), Wishful Seeing (4th Line Theatre), The Seat Next to the King (Toronto FRINGE, The Theatre Centre). You’ll also see Conor in various commercials across TV and streaming platforms!
Conor believes in encouraging learning, inspiring confidence, and fostering creativity all while creating a fun and safe environment for kids of all ages! He believes in finding joy in everyday activities, and that the largest of adventures can happen in the smallest of places.
Charlotte Maclean
This is Charlotte’s fifth year with the After School Club! You’ll often find her handling school pick-up for the St. Denis crew, but she’s also always ready to jump in and support both group and one-on-one activities. Charlotte also spends her summers at Super Summer Day Camps and loves being part of Improv Adventure Camp, so she’s no stranger to the energy, creativity and fun that comes with Theatricks!
She loves to help wherever she’s needed, whether that means sharing a giggle, offering a little encouragement, or helping someone with their craft. Charlotte loves being part of the Theatricks team and creating a space where kids feel supported, included and ready to have some fun!
Brianna Rismay
You’ll find Bri at After School Club throughout the school year, and at Super Summer Day Camps in the Guild and Improv Adventure Camps when camp season rolls around! Bri brings big energy, lots of laughs and a whole lot of heart to everything she does. She’s hilarious, kind and incredibly supportive of our campers, always ready to jump in, lend a hand and make sure everyone feels included and part of the fun.
She has a natural way of making kids feel comfortable and bringing them into whatever is happening. Whether she’s leading an activity, joining in on a game, helping a camper who needs a little extra support, or simply making everyone laugh, Bri is always right in the middle of the action!
Isabelle Fernandes
You’ll find Isabelle at After School Club throughout the school year, and at Super Summer Day Camps in the Guild and Improv Adventure Camps when camp season rolls around! Issy brings so much energy, enthusiasm and fun to everything she does. She’s kind, caring and incredibly supportive of our campers, always ready to jump in, help out and make sure everyone feels welcome and included.
She has a great way of connecting with kids and getting them excited about whatever is happening. Whether she’s joining in a game, helping with an activity, supporting a camper who needs a little encouragement or simply being there for a good laugh, Isabelle is always ready to be part of the action!
Zora Trocme
Zora has a pretty great history with Theatricks! He first joined us as a camper at Super Summer Day Camps back in the late 1990’s and, after following his own creative path over the years, is now back as part of the team.
These days, you’ll find Zora teaching art at After School Club and leading art enrichment at Super Summer Day Camps in the Guild. As a designer and artist, he brings a creative eye and lots of imagination to everything he does. He loves helping kids explore their own ideas, get creative and see where their imagination takes them.
Whether he’s helping a camper bring an idea to life, getting messy with an art project or sharing some of his own creative skills, Zora is always encouraging kids to experiment, have fun and make something that’s completely their own. It’s pretty special to have someone who was once a Theatricks camper now sharing his creativity with a whole new generation!
