Are you ready to turn your passion into a career? Whether you are eyeing a top-tier BFA program or looking to break into the professional industry, your monologue is your calling card.

  • 6:30 - 8:30pm

  • 70 Silver Birch Ave., Toronto

  • College, University, Gr. 11-12 Students

What You’ll Master

  • The "Dream School" Strategy: We’ll select and polish two contrasting monologues that meet the specific requirements of major university programs (National Theatre School of Canada, George Brown, Sheridan etc.).

  • The Business of the Room: Learn the "Unwritten Rules." From the perfect slate to handling redirected notes from a panel, we’ll make sure you look like a pro before you even speak your first line.

  • The "Active" Edge: Stop "reciting" and start "living." We use professional techniques to make your performance dynamic, active, and impossible to forget.

  • Confidence Under Pressure: Turn audition nerves into performance fuel through weekly "mock" sessions in a supportive, high-stakes environment.

The 6-Week Roadmap

  1. Selection : Finding the pieces that showcase your unique personality.

  2. Analyzing the Text: Text analysis—finding the secrets hidden in your script.

  3. Physical Command: Finding your characters’ unique physicality. Owning the stage.

  4. Emotional Truth: How to access deep stakes quickly and truthfully.

  5. The College/Pro Interview: How to talk to directors, and agents with confidence.

  6. The Final Showcase: A full mock-audition run-through with personalized feedback for your upcoming season.

Why This Course?

The gap between high school theatre and a BFA program is huge. Most students show up with the wrong material or "safe" choices. We’re here to make sure you show up with an edge. We provide the technical polish and industry insight that helps students navigate the stressful college audition circuit with ease and professional poise.
